0.00/0.00       Leave Glenbrook Station and turn left into Burfitt Parade; walk                                    along this to a T junction with Cowdery St, turn left into Cowdery St. to cross the rail lines on bridge, then turn right into Station St at a T junction.

0.49/0.04      At the end of Station St., turn right and walk down a clearing                            beside No 7 Station St. to the start of a walking track on left; follow  the walking track.

0.78/0.10       Track junction just after track goes over low cliff; take either track-                  they re-join; then turn right and walk a few meters along gully to  an easy crossing.

0.80/0.11       At gully crossing; track then goes fairly steeply up.

1.01/0.14       Track T junction just before a railway cutting; go left and follow                       track gently up, initially parallel to rail lines, then veering left.

1.71/0.22       Track Y junction; ignore track joining from right; continue on main                  track.

1.88/0.25      Key track junction with lesser track on left; no signage here, but                   blaze   on small tree on right and perhaps red bunting on right;  look for prominent sandstone bluff about 50 m into the bush on  right; go left and follow this track down.

1.98/0.27       Track at bare sandstone outcrop; turn right, walk a few meters                                    along sandstone outcrop to some rough steps down.

Note:-  The track down to Glenbrook Creek goes along the spine of a ridge with several low cliff lines where track is more obscure

2.43/0.37      Track emerges at Glenbrook Creek at a sandy floodway; note rocks                  with white graffiti on left- they are a handy marker to find the start of this track back up if required; turn right here and follow a faint walking track upstream along Glenbrook Creek, Creek on your left; this track is quite obscure in places; it goes through low scrub and over outcrop ledges; there may be some red bunting to indicate the track;

2.59/0.45       Walk past a past a fairly wide pool with rope from tree at opposite                  bank; this is not duck Pond.

2.74/0.50       Track T junction just before substantial gully that joins Glenbrook                   Creek from right; note that Glenbrook Creek also turns sharply left here; turn left and walk a few meters down to Duck Pond.

2.77/0.53      After viewing, walk back, past the track junction with prior track                      now on right, and continue straight up along the gully; this track is initially somewhat obscure, but becomes clearer after about 30 m.

2.92/0.57       Three-way track split ahead; take the left walking track fairly                           steeply up.

2.95/0.59       Track Y junction with old service road; go left and follow service                      road up.

3.07/1.02       Track junction just before a large dead tree across service road;                       turn right and follow rough walking track steeply up.

3.17/1.08      Back at key track junction with lesser track taken earlier now on                   right;   note prominent sandstone bluff, now on left.
